Dr. Won Moon’s exploration into mid-facial expansion commenced in 2005 with the introduction of micro-implants in the USA. Subsequently, he pioneered the development of the Maxillary Skeletal Expander (MSE), a distinctive Micro-implant Assisted Rapid Palatal Expander (MARPE). MSE has been widely accepted as a non-surgical skeletal expansion method for both pediatric and adult patients, particularly those experiencing airway constriction. The MSE expander screws are available in sizes of 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm.
