TAD PBD (Transpalatal Bar Distalizer with Hooks)
The PBD Appliance is designed to move an individual tooth or anterior segment with hooks and a TAD in a more posterior direction. It creates or closes space for permanent teeth to develop naturally, and to corrects crowding. The appliance is in a fixed position and comprised of bands around the maxillary permanent first molar teeth. This is useful when you encounter the need for space closure and distalization.
