Rickanator/Bite Ramp (Upper)
The Rickanator is made of a thickened ramp of acrylic. It is a fixed appliance extending off of the base plate with bands and arch wire. The Bite Ramp is designed for the treatment of Class II deep overbite and curve of spee. It is also used to prevent over-jet by allowing the back teeth to erupt.
