Standard Splint (Hard Acrylic Night Guard)
This splint is designed with clear acrylic over the entire occlusal arch. The appliance features a smooth flat surface or may include contact points to improve the temporalmandibular joint (TMJ) position or bruxism. The occlusal surface can be finished in any manner desired, for example,
cuspid rise and/or anterior guidance to disarticulate the teeth in protrusive/excursive movements.
